PRESCRIPTIONS
To order your prescription please call the prescription line ( 01461339248 – this is a voicemail service) and leave your name, date of birth and what medication you need or you can phone the Surgery ( 01461338317 ) to request a form to order your prescriptions online.

IF YOU REQUEST EXTRA WE WILL NOT PROCESS YOUR REQUEST AS IT WILL RESULT IN SHORTAGES
Prescription requests for Paracetamol (tablets and suspension) for patients who are not usually prescribed this on a regular basis will not be issued without clear indication.
If you do not regularly require asthma/ COPD medication such as salbutamol/clenil inhalers these will not be issued “just in case” as there is no clinical need and it will lead to shortages.
We are currently not supplying patients with emergency packs (for asthma, COPD…) due to us been open Monday – Friday from 8am – 6pm.
The chemist do have a text message service so they will send you a text when your prescription is ready to be collected to save people going to the chemist if their medication is not ready yet.

Please note it is currently taking 3-5 days for routine medication to be ready. If your medication has been sent to the chemist for same day collection please allow 3-4 hours before going to collect it.

If you request a sicknote it will be ready to collect after 4pm unless you have requested for it to be posted or emailed.
