District Nursing Team

We are pleased to have the help and support of an excellent team.

Our attached district nursing team offer nursing services to the housebound, and those recently discharged from hospital. They have a particular expertise in wound management, palliative care, as well as catheter, stoma and continence advice.

Health Visiting Team

Our Health Visitors are responsible for the promotion of good health in children under the age of five and their and their families. Services provided include; routine surveillance of child development, weight, childhood immunisation, helping new parents with feeding difficulties, weaning, behaviour, etc.

The immunisation and well baby clinics are now held outwith the Practice. A letter of invite for your child’s immunisations should be sent to you before your child is 8 weeks of age. Please contact your health visitor if you have not received your appointment for your child’s immunisations or have any concerns you wish to discuss with them. Your child will still be seen by the GP between 6 and 8 weeks of age for a developmental review. This appointment will be sent to you by letter. Please contact the surgery if your child passes 8 weeks and has still not received an appointment.
