Repeat Prescriptions

With computerised prescriptions you will receive a tear-off counterfoil which lists all the items you are prescribed for repeat use. You should return this to the surgery (minimum 48 hours prior, maximum 1 week prior) of needing your medication.

There are 4 options on how to request your medication:

  • You can bring the counterfoil into surgery.
  • You can post your counterfoil into surgery.
  • You can sign up for online access when in the practice and request your repeat medication via patient access.
  • You can ring the practice between 9am – 4pm (option 2)

Collection of your medication, we request that all patients have a moniated pharmacy this way your prescription is sent direct to a pharmacy of your choice.

Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS)

Are you on regular medications and do you collect prescriptions from the surgery?

EPS is more convenient way to collect your prescriptions. The practice would send your prescription electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

If you would like to use the EPS service please inform the practice of your nominated pharmacy, once this is recorded in your records your prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy once receiving your medication request. At any time you can stop using this service just inform the practice that you want to remove your nominated pharmacy.
