Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- phone or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are
Unless you were specifically asked to call in sooner, please allow 14 days before contacting us to give time for your results to reach us. To obtain your results by telephone dial 01751 471296.
If your results are within normal limits, they will be given to you by the receptionist, otherwise, a doctor will telephone you to discuss them.
If you phone us after 14 days and the results are not available we will automatically follow this up to find out what the delay is.
Non-urgent advice: Confidentiality
For patient confidentiality reasons, we will not give your results to anyone else, unless they are responsible for your care.
