Repeat Prescriptions

Non-urgent advice: Notice

We do not take prescription requests over the telephone.

You will need to ring the surgery for log in details and passwords to use our online services to order your medication. You can also post your request by Royal Mail. You are able to order your medication 7 days in advance.

Please note there is a 48 hour turn around for prescriptions.

Pharmacies are no longer able to order your medication on your behalf.  All requests must come direct to the surgery either by post or online.

Should you wish to order your Prescription online, please go to the link at the top of this page. First time users will have to complete a simple one-off registration at the Surgery.

Unfortunately, the Practice is no longer able to issue private Prescriptions for NHS patients.

We have the right to retain Prescriptions if we feel that they are not to be used for the right purpose.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medications will be asked to see a Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Most medications can be reviewed by the in house Pharmacist team. If they can’t issue or review your medication, you will be given a clinician or nurse’s appointment to complete your yearly review.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
