Advanced Nurse Practitioners

An Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)/Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is a qualified Registered General Nurse or Pharmacist who has undertaken additional training at Masters level in diagnosis and treatment.

These advanced skills enable the ACP/ANP to function in a similar way to GPs in diagnosis, treatment and referral.

All have a licence to prescribe medications and request tests.

Nurses

A Practice Nurse is a qualified Registered General Nurse with additional qualifications and skills in all aspects of family health, public health, health promotion, travel health and sexual health.

They are experts in the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma and heart disease.

Patient Services Team

We have an extensive team of reception, administration, and secretarial staff who are all highly trained and experienced in dealing with patient enquiries and navigating patients to the appropriate services.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women.

Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
