We use a computerised appointment system. Appointments can be made over the telephone, online or by calling in and speaking to one of the reception team.

All book on the day appointments are released at 8.00am and can be booked online or through our reception team.

You will normally be able to see the doctor of your choice, but may have to wait longer for a convenient appointment.

All registered patients at the Practice now have an allocated named GP. Patients can still see a GP of their choice on request when making an appointment.

If you cannot keep your appointment please ring and cancel it as soon as possible so that it can be offered to someone else. If you booked your appointment online, you can also cancel online up to one hour before the appointment.

The receptionist may ask the nature of your condition, to ensure you are seen by the correct person. This information is treated in the strictest of confidence.

We make every effort to see patients on time however, complicated and serious illnesses can cause delays.

Each appointment should be for one person only and one problem only. Presenting more than one patient or problem at a single consultation causes delays to subsequent patients.

If you are a patient aged 16 years or over, you can now book a routine 10 minute appointment with your GP using our internet booking service.  Once registered for the internet service you can also order repeat prescription items.

If you havent registered yet you will need to visit our reception desk to sign up for the service. You will need to do this yourself in person and bring with you some form of ID such as photo driving licence or passport.

You can register online by clicking the link below, but you will still need to come into the surgery with a form of ID to be able to complete the process and use the service.  Alternatively you can now register from home via the NHS app which is available from the Apple and Android app store. You will need your NHS number to register, if you dont know what this is you can request it from our reception team via telephone or via our online contact us page.

Click below use, or to register to use, the online service.

Book on the day appointments are released at 8.00am daily at the same time as they are released for receptionists to book

There are a limited number of pre-bookable slots due to high numbers of patients not attending appointments when they are booked in advance.  Please note that you can only book online for a maximum of 2 weeks in future, if you require an appointment that is longer than 2 weeks away please call the surgery and speak to our reception team.
