NEW LOCKDOWN/COVID 19 VACCINATION – Impact on staffing levels

As has been the case throughout the pandemic the Practice remains open to patients.

However, the new national lockdown coupled with the Prime ministers order for the Clinically vulnerable to shield impacts on our staff numbers.

Additionally, we are providing Nurse and admin staff to the central vaccination centre which also impacts on the staff available, reduces the routine Nurse appointments and admin staff available to answer the phones.

With the National drive to vaccinate as many of the population as possible in the shortest possible time these limitations are likely to be in place for the foreseeable future and the Practice would encourage patients to utilise the ENAGE CONSULT, ON LINE access and non-telephone ways to access the practice to avoid lengthy delays. This will also enable those without internet access to be able to contact the Practice more easily.
