Patient Participation Group

Dear Patient,

We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.

To help us with this, we have set up a Patient Participation Group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received.

We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.

We aim to gather patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample.

We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

Our PPG Members

  • Mohammed Yasin
  • David Barber
  • Denzil Nurse
  • Jean Moxon
  • Isabel Foster

If you are interested in joining Marsh Surgery PPG Group and putting your view across regarding patient care etc, then please enquire at Reception.

Last year we began taking expressions of interest in a Patient Participation Group.

This year we have designed a survey taking into consideration the members comments, performed the survey in house, the report of the results of this is available to view on the right hand side.

Along with several patients we were able to create an actio plan and have been able to take some action already against the plan agreed with the patient group.

To read about our progress so far please see the report attached.

Please find attached the Terms of Reference for our Virtual Patient Group which will give you some idea of the level of involvement we ask for. We do not have any plans to have face to face meetings but these may become necessary in the future if these is a particular topic which requires discussion.
