If you would like to be able to book your appointments online, please bring some photo ID to reception and you will be provided with the necessary login details.
If you are unable to keep your appointment please cancel it in good time so that it can be made available for someone else.
Please request emergency or urgent appointments only when absolutely necessary.
It is important to bear in mind that an appointment is for one person only.
We try to see patients as near as possible to their appointment time, but please appreciate that waiting times may be beyond our control if the doctor is called out on an emergency visit or at times of peak demand.
Please attend the Surgery punctually, if you are not there at the time of your appointment this could cause further delays or you could miss your appointment.
In order to ensure you see the doctor of your choice please give as much notice as possible, doctor’s appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
Saturday surgery is available for patients who are unable to attend during the week due to work commitments. However, that the surgery cannot be contacted by telephone on Saturday as the line is diverted to the Out of Hours Service.
The surgery is closed one Tuesday afternoon every month for staff training. Posters in reception give the dates for this and are available on the home screen.
Home Visits
Please call 0113 264 5455 or 0113 264 5414 before 10:30am to book a home visit.
Each home visit takes up at least 3 surgery appointments, therefore unless you are genuinely housebound please attend the surgery. As we can fit you in and you will be seen earlier than if the doctor has to visit. Transportation difficulties are not a sufficient reason to expect a home visit.
When requesting a home visit be prepared to give details of the problem to the receptionist so that the doctor can decide on the urgency of the visit. The doctor may telephone you to discuss the problem.
The visits are shared between the doctors, therefore, we can not guarantee which doctor will visit.
Emergency Visits
If you need a visit which you think can not wait, please tell the receptionist who will put you through to the doctor or arrange for the doctor to ring you back.
Out-of-Hours Care
If you ring the surgery when it is closed you will hear a message giving you the number to ring in case of emergency, which is 0345 605 9999.
Out of hours care is the responsibility of NHS Leeds who will ensure the highest quality of care is available.
