Children’s Flu Gruffalo Trail. 23rd Sept 2020

The Children’s Flu Gruffalo Trail was a great success on Wednesday 23rd September 2020. 

BIG Thank you to all the families that attended for Children’s Nasal Flu appointments, we managed to see 167 children in total. 

Well done to Managing Nurse Julie Beer for her hard work and leadership providing The Gruffalo Themed flu clinic under COVID restrictions as well as, Clinical Correspondence Lead Tracey, Digital and Media Officer Amy and Assistant Practice Manager Laura for their support and help organizing the service.

 Thank you to Data processor Janet for liaising with the Gardening Team at Temple Newsam Gardens who provided us with some trees. 

Andrea Mann, Managing Partner at Dr Fox & Partners and Clinical Director for Cross Gates Primary Care Network was caught on camera (photos below) interviewing with BBC Look North speaking about our Gruffalo themed flu clinic and more information about the clinic can be found at bit.ly/3cmf. 

Thank you to Dr Liberty-Breeze Heskeymee-Preston for creating the Gruffalo scrubs for the team, they looked fantastic!
