Colton Mill Medical Centre Self-Check Room
In January 2014, we decided to change our Practice storeroom at Colton Mill Medical Centre into a Self-Check Room.
Patients do not need an appointment to use the self-check room.
Complete Self-Check Forms
Patients can complete Self-Check questionnaires including Contraceptive Pill Checks, a member of reception will check the completed form and attach it to the patients records.
BP, Height, Weight and BMI
The Self-Check Room allows patients to come opportunistically to check their own Blood pressure, Height, Weight and Body Mass Index (BMI).
Access Information
The Self-Check room allows patient access to information about self-referrals into local services and read information about life style, smoke cessation, sexual health, COPD screening, hypertentsion, addiction and alcohol.
