Meeting with local Member of Parliament

Representatives from the Belper Primary Care Network (which includes Arthur Medical Centre) met with Jonathan Davies MP, the recently elected member of parliament for Mid Derbyshire, on Thursday 15^th August 2024, to share insight regarding the difficulties and challenges that face GP practices. The meeting was productive and Jonathan was keen to understand the current state of play in NHS Primary Care and how he might be able to offer support. We have tentatively planned to meet with Jonathan and Lindsey Farnsworth, MP for Amber Valley on a quarterly basis going forward.
