Telephony System

We are absolutely delighted to confirm that the final installation and ‘go-live’ of our new telephony system is scheduled for Thursday 21st November 2024! A lot of work has gone into bringing this project to fruition.
The new telephony system will:
- Provide an unlimited capacity for calls in our queue, meaning that patients will no longer hear and engaged or busy tone at peak time
- Provide a ‘call-back’ function where patients who are in the queue can select and option where they can hang up and be called back when they are first in the queue. The system will then keep their queue place and automatically call and reconnect you with the surgery when you are first in line
- Improve functionality and efficiency and efficiency in the practice. The new system allows us to produce more detailed reporting, improve our call recording access and will allow us to easily move people around to different areas or work from home as required.
