Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for employment or driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Travel Advice and Vaccinations

From 1st April 2023 we are no longer providing a full travel clinic. However we can administer the following Travel Vaccinations free of charge:

These vaccines are free because they protect against diseases thought to represent the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country.

As part of the NHS provision the practice is able to provide Hepatitis A, Typhoid, polio and other UK scheduled vaccines. Please book a routine appointment with the practice nurse for NHS vaccines.
