Lunchtime Closing

From 1st June 2024 we will be restricting access to the building during lunchtime.

This means that the front doors will be closed and locked between 13:00 and 14:00 Monday – Friday.

Our phone lines will be unaffected and open as usual (08:00-18:30 Monday – Friday) and will be fully staffed.

We ask that you plan your visits to the surgery around the lunchtime closure – you can still access the surgery between 08:00 and 13:00 and 14:00 and 18:30 Monday – Friday.

If anyone were to need urgent help whilst we are restricting access to the building then please be reassured we will organise appropriate medical care and would advise anyone needing assistance to phone us as usual on 0115 925 4566.

We have taken the decision to implement restricted access during lunchtime to enable our staff to access meetings, attend training and facilitate networking and lunch breaks.

We have consulted the Local Medical Committee, Integrated Care Board, NHS England and our Patient Participation Group who all support this decision to improve our staff’s wellbeing without compromising patient care.
