CHAT/Patient Group

CHAT (Crown House Action Team), first established in 2005, is a group of patient volunteers, who are registered at Crown House Surgery.

The meetings are led & organised by our Patient Services Manager, Catherine Peck. Meetings are held on a regular basis, at the Surgery, to discuss issues & new proposals/services to the practice.

Become Involved and Make a Difference!

If you would like to join CHAT or find our more information please contact Catherine Peck, Patient Services Manager. Catherine will be happy to provide you with further information or arrange for you to speak with one of our patients already involved with CHAT.

Examples of what CHAT have achieved over the years

Self Checking in System

CHAT supported the practice with the patient self check-in screens and have actively encouraged patients to use the screens through advertising the system within the Surgery as well as giving up their own time, showing patients in the waiting room how to use the screens.

Chiropody Service

The group are extremely pleased that their initial idea of a Chiropody Service was taken on board and that the service is now run by Podiatry across Bassetlaw. Patients can be referred by their GP or can self-refer through Single Point of Access.
