FLU Vaccine Patient Cohort this year

From 1st September below cohorts can be offered a flu vaccine:

➢ Pregnant women

➢ All children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2024

➢ Primary school aged children (reception to year 6)

➢ Secondary school aged children (year 7 to year 11)

➢ All children in clinical risk groups aged from 6 months to less than 18 years

From 3rd October 2024 the below cohorts are to be offered a flu vaccine (same

dates apply to Community Pharmacies):

➢ Aged 65 years and over

➢ Aged 18 – 64 years in a clinical risk group (defined by the Green Book)

➢ Patients in long stay residential care homes

➢ Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly

or disabled person

➢ Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals

➢ Frontline workers

Clinics for October Over 18s are available to book now  for Clinics on Saturdays 5th and 12th October mornings and you will be sent a booking link soon or you can contact reception now

For patients eligible in September we will be in touch by the end of August
