Non-urgent advice: Extended Access & Out of Hours
Should you need urgent medical attention while we are closed, please ring 111. this is a free call – if you ring 0115 9267628 you will be asked to hang up and redial 111. They will advise you on what care you need. If you need to be seen they will advise where this will be. Please avoid going to the Accident & Emergency Dept unless it is an emergency.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
NHS Urgent Care Centre – no appointment needed.
The NHS Urgent Care Centre is open at Seaton House, London Road, Nottingham NG2 4LA (next to the BBC building).
They can offer assessment and treatment for health conditions that are urgent but non-life threatening such as:
Minor burns and scalds
Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness
Skin infections and animal bites
Suspected broken bones, sprains and strains (X-ray will be available on site)
Eye infections and minor eye injuries
No appointment is needed; just drop-in between 7am and 9pm 365 days per year.
