Minor Conditions:

Local Pharmacy – Your pharmacy can help with many minor conditions. They can offer treatments for tonsillitis, uncomplicated UTIs in women, sinusitis, ear ache, shingles, impetigo and infected insect bites. Some pharmacies can also offer contraceptive pill checks and advice, free emergency contraception, BP checks, flu and covid vaccinations and more.

Sexual Health and Contraception:

Sexual Health Sheffield – Please telephone 0114 226 8888 to book an appointment for services for coils, implants, Depo injections and more.

MSI Reproductive Choices – Please telephone 0345 300 8090 for clinical advice, support, and information. MSI Reproductive Choice can provide early medical abortion, surgical abortion, STI screening, contraception & counselling across South Yorkshire. Royal Hallamshire Hospital Termination of Pregnancy – You can self-refer to the Termination of Pregnancy Service through G1 Reception by telephone on 0114 226 8225 and selecting Option 1. This service is confidential but if you are under 16 you will need to bring an adult (someone over 18) who you trust when you go for your appointment.

Emergency Contraception – You can get free emergency contraception from certain pharmacies in Sheffield. These pharmacies can be found here https://www.sexualhealthsheffield.nhs.uk/services/emergency-contraception/ Please note this service is only for patients over the age of 14.

Longley 4 Greens Fitness 4 All – Fitness Classes are Monday – Friday What’s On | Longley 4G All classes require you to sign up, donations are welcome (minimum of £1) but if you can’t pay you won’t be turned away.

Drug and Alcohol Misuse:

The Corner – They offer support for drug use. You can contact them directly via their website.http://www.thecornersheffield.com/. This is for under 18 years only.

Likewise – They offer drug and alcohol support. You can contact them by phone or their website. https://likewisesheffield.org.uk/. This is for those aged 18 and over.

Employment:

SOHAS – Sheffield Occupational Health Advisory Service support people who’s health is affecting their work or vice versa. You can self- refer here Patients – Sheffield Occupational Health Advisory Service or ring 0114 275 5760.

Working Win – This is a free service, which aims to support you if you have a physical and/or mental health condition and would like to find meaningful employment or stay in your current role. Scroll down to self-refer at Working Win – Shaw Trust or ring 0808 178 3061.

Mental Health:

Door 43 – They offer support to 13-25 year olds on a range of emotional wellbeing issues. They offer several services including: a drop in, one to one support, wellbeing cafes and social prescribing spaces. To self-refer please see this page Sheffield Futures or contact them on 0114 201 2800,

Kooth – This is an online mental wellbeing community for children and young people aged 11-25.  They provide accessible and safe spaces with a range of therapeutic support and interventions. Register for their online help at https://www.kooth.com
