Appointments Information

Our Appointments

To see a GP you must have an appointment. These can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance. Appointments are booked at 10 minute intervals. We try to run on time as far as possible, but inevitably some appointments do run over.

The majority of our appointments are carried out face to face or on the telephone, these have proved the most satisfactory methods for most of our patients. Although their are other appointment types available.

Please visit our Who Do I See? section which has advice on the best Healthcare Professional for you to see.

Open Surgery is currently suspended.

To request a non-urgent / routine appointment

In line with Government Guidelines there are numerous ways to make an appointment with us as you can see below.

Online Consultation Bookings

To make an appointment online there are the options below available:

Please login to book your appointments

Booking Online Appointments

If you are a patient of Kimbolton Medical Centre and have organised an online password for your repeat medication you can now use this password to book an appointment with a doctor.

If you do not have an online password reception or dispensary staff can organise one for you. All passwords are individual and we do not keep a record of them, once logged on you are asked to change to a personal password.

We do ask that you only book for general GP consultation appointments and not for any procedure or long term condition review, as these are specialised slots possibly needing specific doctors and extra time. The system only allows you to book one doctor’s appointment per person at a time; this is to avoid any abuse of the system.

Please note:  We do not accept requests for appointments by email.

Book On The Day & Appointment Surgeries

Telephone reception at 8 am to make a “book on the day” GP appointment. This can be telephone triage or face to face as appropriate.

You can also make a GP appointment for a consultation up to 4 weeks ahead by telephoning during surgery hours or booking online (same process as ordering prescriptions online, detailed below).

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible. This will enable us to potentially give the appointment slot to someone else and save wasting any precious GP time.
