We do not accept prescription requests over the telephone for safety reasons.
Please ensure you allow three working days for the processing of any repeat prescription request. The quickest and safest way to request your repeat prescription is via SystmOnline. Please contact reception if you need to be set up.
You can now order your repeat prescription Online, use the SystmOnline App. Alternatively you can drop off your repeat slip at the surgery.

Whichever method you use for ordering a repeat prescription, it takes 3 (three) working days to process.

Dispensing Doctors
In rural areas ‘dispensing doctors’ such as Great Staughton Surgery can dispense to patients who live more than 1 mile from the nearest chemist. Other patients can either collect a prescription and take it to a chemist of their choice, or nominate a chemist, such as Lt Paxton Pharmacy or Boots in St Neots, where scripts can be sent electronically.
If you run out of medication, our dispensary team will do their best to help, however we are unable to stock all medication. If we cannot supply you ourselves, the dispensers can ask doctors to sign a prescription for you to take to a chemist.
