In order to communicate effectively with our patients, we have a patient group who arrange regular fundraising events and meet 4 times a year. The surgery is looking for new ways to involve patients in the care we offer – including new services for patients and ‘self-help’ groups. If you’d like to be involved, contact the Practice Manager.
Latest PPG News – The PPG recently organised an information evening to support children and young people’s mental health. This was a free event for all adult carers. The speaker was Claire Ginty – Consultant Occupational Therapist. The focus of the event was to provide information and education about mental health, and to give practical guidance on recognising signs of poor mental health and providing early intervention to improve and develop mental well being. Thank you to all involved in this event and particularly to Claire for providing such an informative evening.
The PPG are organising another Information Evening on Wednesday 15th November at 18.30 at Great Staughton Primary School. This event will be a presentation from Headway, Bedford an Acquired Brain Injury Charity. This is open to all in the community.
