Carers

The Jointly App

The Assistive Technology and Telehealthcare Team (ATT) at Cambridgeshire County Council have recently launched the Carers UK App ‘Jointly’ – (www.jointlyapp.com); the ‘Jointly’ app can be downloaded for free by using the access code on the attached leaflet.

The app makes sharing care with others easier, less stressful and a bit more organised and was designed by carers.

It provides:

  • One central place to store and share information about the person being looked after.
  • Simple, intuitive group communication to keep everyone informed and better connected.
  • Shared task lists and calendar to help co-ordinate responsibilities and organise what needs to be done.

This app aims to support informal carers to try using new technologies to help manage caring responsibilities.

Let us know if you are a carer

Are you looking after or providing support for a relative friend or neighbour? Are you being helped or supported by a relative friend or neighbour?

Your GP needs to know so you can be offered the right information, support and access to services. GP surgeries have to compile information for the government about the numbers of carers attached to the surgery so your information will help them to do this.

There is more information about help with day-to-day living because of illness or disability on the NHS website.

Please complete the form below.  (A paper version of this form is available from the Surgery if you are unable to submit online).

Are You A Carer?

Do you look after a family member or friend who is unwell, disabled or frail?

If so please complete this form. Once you are added to our list of carers we will know about your busy life as a carer, which can affect your health. We can also try and be flexible with appointments etc as we will know about your commitments.
