Cromer Group Practices has opted not to accept registrations from patients who live outside our catchment area.
Patients who move, or are identified as being, outside of our catchment area will be required to register with a practice closer to their new address to ensure they receive appropriate care, including home visits and community support.
When the practice is informed, or identifies, that a patient has permanently moved outside the practice boundary we will write to the patient explaining that we are unable to continue to provide them with medical services and it will be necessary for the patient to register with a GP closer to their new address within the next 30 days.
If we have not heard from the patient within 30 days, we will assume that the patient is permanently living outside our practice boundary area and will remove their name from our patient list

Exceptions
- On the rare occasion that a patient moves a very short distance, on or around the practice boundary, the practice will consider retaining the patient at our discretion.
- Where there is an immediate clinical risk in removing a patient from our patient list the practice may delay the removal and will work with the patient, and/or their representatives, to ensure safe care continues.
