Our phone lines open at 8am and our doors are open at 8.30am.

The surgery is closed for lunch Monday-Friday, between 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

All of the patient areas including the waiting room, the consulting rooms and the toilets, have wheelchair access. We also have lift access to the upper floor.

If you require one, there is a wheelchair available. Please ask at reception upon your arrival.

Free parking is available in the Hollies car park. Those with difficulty walking can be dropped off in front of the surgery. Please note that the spaces marked ‘doctors’ are for the doctors.

Out of Hours & Extended Access

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

Between 6pm and 8am, Monday to Friday, all day at weekends and on bank holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.
Extended hours clinics are available on certain evenings. These are only for patients who cannot attend during normal booking hours. The dispensary will be closed at this time. Please contact reception for further information regarding the extended hours clinics which are available at Bridge Street Surgery.

Improved access appointments are only available to patients who are registered with one of the 21 surgeries within West Norfolk. Appointments are made via the surgery and are available to patients who are unable to access appointments during normal surgery hours or when surgery appointments are fully booked.
