Blood Tests & Results
We offer a blood test (phlebotomy) service at both surgeries. Due to the collection time of samples to the laboratory for testing, these need to be carried out before 3pm.
For more information, please see Blood tests on the NHS website.
Results can take 7-10 days to come back. We do not contact patients regarding routine test results. If your results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once your results have been reviewed, you can view them:
- Using your NHS account (through the NHS website or in the NHS App)
- Using our GP online system: SystmOnline
(Registration required, available 24/7)
Please see Routine Appointments/Queries if you would like to talk to someone about your results.
If your test was undertaken at the request of a hospital consultant, you will need to contact them directly to obtain your results.
