Demand on services

Mattishall & Lenwade Surgeries are experiencing extremely high levels of demand on our services, we understand this can be frustrating if you are seeking to use our services.

It is disappointing to have to raise the subject of abuse, which is also reaching an unacceptable level and will not be tolerated.  It is essential that patients work together with our staff and understand that individual staff members respond differently to abuse, but it can have a significant and prolonged impact on health and wellbeing of our staff. This may result in staff leaving or extended absence, further impacting on our ability to provide a healthcare service.

Please respect our staff, they are here to help you and if we have reached capacity, they will signpost you to an appropriate alternative health care provider such as NHS111, the Walk-In-Centre or Urgent Care.
