Pharmacy & Dispensary Refit

The container has arrived, the Pharmacy is being stripped out at the weekend and the ROBOT arrives on Sunday – this is major works and it is having an impact on the services we can provide.

Prescribed Medication Collection

Our seven working day turn around is being breached on some occasions – it may take more time for your medication to be ready for collection.  The team are working extremely hard and working additional hours to catch up and support us during the re-fit and installation of the robot.  You will still be able to collect your ordered medication from the external door to Room 1 accessed to the left of the building. However, during this time you will not be able to buy over the counter medications.      

Paper prescription only

Following feedback and to ease pressures during the re-fit, pre-arranged paper prescriptions can be collected from Reception to take to other Pharmacies.  This is a collection only service and any advice should be obtained from the pharmacy where you take your prescription.

Acute on the day prescribed medication.

During the refit paper prescriptions issued when you see a clinician will need to be taken to an alternative Pharmacy.
