As soon as you know you are pregnant, please make an appointment to see a doctor, who will then arrange the relevant care with you.
The community midwives and doctors provide a shared care system for antenatal and postnatal care, both for mother and baby at the surgery and at home. Our community midwife is based at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, and can be contacted via the switchboard on 01582 49 11 66. The midwife also runs clinics at the surgery 08:30 – 16:00 every Monday.
Following your delivery, the midwife cares for you for ten days, after which our health visitors will take over your routine care.
