Statement from HWE ICB

We are pleased to report that NHS services in Hertfordshire and West Essex are being restored to business as usual, following the disruption caused by Friday’s global IT outage.  

GP and hospital systems are back online and work is now underway to ensure that any patient information temporarily filed on paper records is transferred back onto digital clinical systems. This may cause some disruption, but every effort will be made to minimise the impact on patient care. 

We would like to thank the public for their patience, and want to pass on our appreciation to NHS staff for their work in difficult circumstances to ensure that essential health services were maintained throughout the day.
