We use a behavioural approach to sleep and work in partnership with families, we know that you are the expert on your child. Good Neighbours Scheme
This is a community-based charity that harnesses the skills and goodwill of volunteers (currently 69) to support vulnerable people in their community. We frequently get referrals from local hospitals, doctors, district nurses, the local social services and are often contacted by the families of elderly local residents asking for help. We run a range of weekly services through most of the year which aim to reduce isolation and enable our clients to remain in their local community.
Chiropody and Nail cutting services
Our nail care services are run by trained healthcare professionals. They can check your feet for any problems, such as pain or swelling, help with cutting nails, and remove dead or cracked skins.
Age UK befriending service
Our befriending service matches carefully vetted volunteers with Barnet residents who are lonely and isolated. Relationships normally involve regular home visits for a chat and a laugh. Some matches may also involve outings to shops or parks, help with paperwork and modern technology.
