Doctors
Dr Prasad (m) GP Dr Prasad joined the surgery in April 2005. He passed his primary medical qualification in Madras Medical College in 1987. He came to the UK in 1997. He specialises in paediatric medicine having worked in various hospitals in the Paediatric Departments and obtained his MRCPCH (Lon) in Paediatrics in 2001. He speaks Tamil and Telugu. | Dr Bala (m) GP Dr Bala joined us in 2008. He qualified in Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India during 2001. He came to the UK in 2003, worked in various hospitals and became a GP in 2008. He is interested in Diabetes. |
Dr Yogendra (f) GP Dr Yogendra joined the surgery in 2013. She qualified from Cambridge University in 2006. She worked in various medical hospital specialities in Addenbrookes Hospital , Cambridge and at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, she passed her MRCP in 2011. She joined the Central Middlesex VTS scheme to become a GP and qualified in 2013. She is interested in Diabetes, Women’s Health and Family Planning. | Dr Saba (f) GP Dr Saba joined the surgery in 2013. She qualified as a doctor by passing MBBS in 2000, from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Having worked in various specialities in hospitals in the UK, she qualified as a GP in 2007. Her expertise is in Women’s Health. She can converse in Tamil and Sinhalese. |
Dr Chandran (m) GP Dr Chandran started his own surgery at the present site in 1998. He retired from NHS in June 2021 |
Nursing Team
Ketal Patel (f) Nurse Ketal works part time at the practice, she has been part of the team since 2013. She is able to provide advice on healthy living and family planning. She runs clinics for longer term health conditions such as asthma and diabetes. She does most of the childhood immunisations, travel vaccines and cervical smears. She is able to take blood tests for children over the age of 12. We are proud to announce that Ketal was achieved the Queen’s Nurse Award in May 2021. | Faisa Abshir Phlebotomist / Health Care Assistant Faisa joined us in 2020 . At present she works four days a week. She is responsible for collecting blood samples from our patients and sending them to the hospital. Appointments for a blood test can be made at the reception. |
ARRS Role
Krutika Shah (f) PCN General Practice Assistant Krutika is our PCN General Practice Assistant . She has a hybrid medical assistant role to support the doctors in the smooth running of the surgery , doing administration and basic clinical duties. She is trained to do general health care checks, BP recordings, smoking cessation support, diabetic and asthma checks, flu injections, phlebotomy and various other designated jobs. |
