We now have a Health Pod available exclusively for our registered patients at Chiswick Health Centre. You can use it to take some simple health readings yourself, either before or instead of seeing a clinician. It allows you to:
- Check your blood pressure
- Measure your height and weight
- Answer a few health questions on the touchscreen
The readings are clinical-grade and are securely linked to our clinical system, so everything you record goes straight into your medical record. If anything looks out of range, it will alert our clinical team, so we can follow it up if needed. Why are we using it? Using the Health Pod helps us to:
- Free up valuable clinician time
- Make more face-to-face appointments available for patients with more complex needs
- Use appointment time more effectively for everyone
It also means you spend less time on routine checks and more time talking about what matters to you. Is it easy to use? Yes — it’s very simple:
