Late Arrival Policy

Our practice is committed to delivering safe, effective, and timely care to all patients. To help us achieve this, we kindly ask that all patients arrive on time for their scheduled appointments.

Late Arrival and Did Not Attend (DNA)
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, our clinical system will automatically mark your appointment as “Did Not Attend (DNA)”. This is an automated process and cannot be reversed by practice staff.

What Happens If You Are Marked as DNA?
If your appointment is marked as DNA due to late arrival, you will be required to rebook your appointment. In some cases, you may be asked to wait until the clinician has finished seeing other patients and only if they are available to see you later that day. Please be aware that this cannot be guaranteed and may result in a delay to your care or treatment.

Why It Is Important to Arrive on Time
Arriving on time ensures that:
• You receive the full benefit of your appointment.
• Other patients are not delayed.
• Clinicians can manage their schedules safely and efficiently.
• Urgent and emergency cases can be managed effectively.

Repeated late arrivals or missed appointments may be recorded on your medical record and could affect future access to appointments.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in supporting the smooth running of our clinics and helping us provide the best possible care to all patients.
