Appointments

Warning advice: Making an Appointment

Our phone lines are open at 08.00am every morning for on the day appointments. You will initially be booked in for a telephone appointment with one of our doctors (8.30am – 1pm) who will call you at home or wherever is convenient.  The doctor will assess your medical needs over the phone and ask you to come in for a face to face appointment if it is clinically necessary.

We are able to care for many more patients via our telephone triage system.

Non-urgent advice: On the Day

These appointments are for more urgent matters and can be booked by phoning the surgery at 08:00 on the day you require an appointment.

Please note these appointments can be taken very quickly so please make sure you phone at 08:00. We receive a high volume of calls at this time so please be patient as calls are queued automatically and are answered in strict rotation.

Non-urgent advice: Pre-Booked

These appointments can be booked up to a week in advance by phoning after 09:00am or coming into the surgery during opening hours.

Subject to availability you will be able to choose which doctor you would like to see.

Please be aware that the doctor is only able to deal with one issue per 10 minute appointment. If you need to discuss more than one issue please make a double appointment.

Urgent advice: How to Cancel an Appointment

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so that your appointment can be offered to someone else.

If you are cancelling please telephone us on 020 7351 1766 as soon as possible, and at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. This will enable us to offer your appointment to someone else.

Alternatively you can cancel your appointment online using SystmOnline if you are signed up to the service.

Cancellations notified less than 30 minutes before the appointment time will be recorded as failure to attend (DNA).

Repeated failure to attend booked appointments is a significant waste of NHS resources
