Meet the Team

These clinics are run by the midwives. If you become pregnant, you are able to self-refer to the midwifery team and given a ‘booking appointment’ at which the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy at a local clinic or the local hospital, or both.

Work within the community to provide nursing care to those who cannot come to surgery.

For advice and practical help for the under fives. Health visitor perform routine checks on babies at eight months, two and a quarter and three and a half years of age. They also run mother and baby groups, check for head lice. dispense treatment and liaise with GPs on the management of their patients.

Provide nursing care at school. They undertake the immunisation in the teenage years, provide education on sexual guidance and can offer a range of investigations such as hearing tests.

Faiz Patel, our senior clinical pharmacist, oversees CPs working at the practice and the team of repeat prescribing clerks.

Marian joined the practice in April 2025, having previously worked at GP federation level in different roles.
