New Patients

The doctors welcome new patients who live anywhere in the country as we can provide telephone and video consults, but any patient outside our locality unfortunately are not eligible for home visits.

We do not work with a catchment area so anyone is able to register at our practice as long as you are aware that we might not be able to provide a home visit if you live too far away from the practice.

We may refuse to register you if you are elderly or vulnerable and live too far from the practice, as you are most likely to need a home visit while registered with us and we will not be able to provide this to you.

We are a Safe Surgery. You can register with us even without proof of ID.

Asylum seekers do not need to provide immigration documents. Please note: we provide proof of address for asylum seekers.

How To Register With Us

To register with us, please complete the online NHS registration form via the button below.

  • Medical treatment is available from the date of registration.
  • All new patients over 5 years old will need to schedule a new patient check-up appointment.

If you are unable/do not wish to register online, please complete and email both registration forms below along with a photo ID and proof of address to thebeaumont@nhs.net.

Alternatively, you may wish to come in to the practice to fill in both forms. Please also bring a photo ID and proof of address with you.

We will still register you if you are not able to provide these forms of ID.

To use our secure online services, you’ll need to provide a photo ID (like a passport or driving licence) and proof of address along with your completed registration forms.

If you cannot provide these, please speak to our Reception staff for assistance.

Temporary Patient Registrations

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a Doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP Practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local Practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that Practice.
