How to make an appointment.

  1. On the day appointments – with an unspecified doctor – please CALL the surgery on 0208 441 7008 at 8.30am to obtain an urgent appointment on the same day.
  2. Advanced appointments – For non-urgent medical needs.with a doctor of your choice as available. This can be made via telephone or in person. These appointments are few weeks ahead. Not for the same day or next day.
  3. Review appointments – Usually to discuss your results or a follow up appointment requested by a doctor. These are usually offered to you by the practice. These are usually booked after we receive your results-few weeks in advance as they are not clinically urgent. Please note we DO NOT offer same day appointments to discuss test results.
  4. Home visits – Home visits are offered to patients who are housebound. If a patient requires a home visit, they will need to telephone the surgery before 10am to request this. A GP will first call the patient/career and then decide whether it can be done over the phone or to visit them at home.
  5. Online appointment request – Please use ‘patchs’ on our website to request an appointment. These are actioned within 48 hours therefore-however that does not mean you will be seen within 48 hours. Please do not submit an online request if its an urgent matter such as UTI/lumps or skin conditions.
  6. HUB appointments- When we are fully booked, we offer Hub appointments to patients which are usually F2F appointments with a hub doctor in Carlton House Hub.
  7. Single appointment slot only- Patients are only given one 10 minutes slot with a GP on any day. If you have more than one issue to discuss, first ask your GP during the consultation if they have time to discuss a second issue. Some GPs will agree if it can be done within your allocated time. If not, please contact the reception to make another appointment for another day. We do not offer double appointments. If you have multiple family members, you will need to make separate appointments for each of them. One appointment is for one patient only.
  8. Telephone appointments- Telephone appointments are still a 10 minutes GP appointments. Please refrain from calling the reception and ask for a telephone call with a GP for 2 minutes as its not possible for us to transfer calls to GPs unless you made an appointment with them to discuss something in a 10 minutes slot.
  9. Appointments with the Nurse/ Health Care Assistant/ Clinical Pharmacist- These are pre-bookable appointments. We do not offer same day appointments with these staff.
  10. Physician Associate- They are qualified clinical staff who work under the supervision of a GP. They can see patients for minor ailment medical issues.

Urgent cases will be seen on the day by which ever doctor is available.

Non-urgent advice: Please note

Each appointment is for one family member only.

If a child is attending with an adult who is not their parent or guardian, we will need written consent from the parent or guardian and a telephone number to contact if necessary.

Extended Hours

We also offer some appointments to help those who work. These are for early morning Monday and Tuesday, and late Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please note that during these times only patients with pre-booked appointments can be seen.

Primary Care Access Hub

A GP primary care access hub has been set up within Enfield to give patients better access to primary care services. The hubs are open extended hours from 6.30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm weekends and bank holidays (including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day), which means its easier for you to get an appointment at a time that suits you. If there are no available appointments at our practice, please ask reception more information about using the hubs and get help with booking an appointment.

Authorised clinicians only, such as a GP or practice nurse, will have access to view your medical records. The clinician will not be able to amend your medical records but will send a summary of the consultation and treatment provided to your registered GP. Your medical information will be treated with the strictest of confidence.

Your medical records will only be shared between your practice and the hub if you have not actively opted out of data sharing. If you don’t want your medical records to be viewed by any other healthcare professional other than your GP or other GPs at your GP practice, then you have the right to opt out of having your medical record shared with other healthcare providers. Ask for further details at your GP practice.
