Non-urgent advice: Booking a Routine Appointment
The quickest way to request a routine appointment is online via AccuRx triage. We aim to respond to your request the same day, either offering advice, an appointment or adding your request to a virtual waiting list. If you are requesting a specific GP or particular site, you may need to wait longer for an appointment.
If you are unable to complete the online form, you can contact the practice by telephone or visit one of our surgery sites in person, and we will fill this in for you. This will then be triaged in the same way as online requests.

Non-urgent advice: Late Arrival Policy for Patients at Our GP Surgery
A standard appointment slot is ten minutes long, from the time the clinician calls you to their room and includes arranging any tests or referrals you need. To ensure fairness and efficiency, we have a clear policy for late arrivals:
1. Please arrive before your stated appointment start time and leave enough time to check in on the machines in the waiting areas or at our reception desk.
2. Less than 10 Minutes Late: If you arrive within your appointment time but after the booked start time for the appointment, you may be seen at the discretion of the clinician running the clinic. You may be asked to wait and be seen at the end of the clinic, for example.
3. More than 10 Minutes Late: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will have missed your appointment and will need to rebook. If there is a medically urgent reason to be seen that day, please inform the care coordinator at the reception desk. You might be seen at the discretion of the clinician you were originally booked with, or an emergency slot might be arranged for you as appropriate and based on clinical need.
4. Calling Ahead: If you know you will be late, please call ahead. However, this does not change the policy, and you may still need to rebook.
5. Clinician Running Late: Occasionally, our doctors or nurses may run behind schedule due to complex cases or emergencies. We appreciate your patience and understanding in these situations.
We strive to run as close to booked appointment times as possible and appreciate your effort to arrive on time.

Non-urgent advice: Cancel an Appointment
If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason, or if the health problem has cleared up on its own, please remember to cancel your appointment. Cancelling your appointment with even 10 minutes notice will enable us to see other patients in need. You do not need to keep an appointment to tell your doctor the problem has resolved. Many people miss their appointments every week, which leads to wasted clinician time and longer waiting lists for appointments.
