Extended AccessOut of hours services provide access to healthcare when GP surgeries are closed. Most GP surgeries operate between 8am to 6:30pm, and are often closed on weekends, bank holidays and educational sessions (please check your surgery operating times as not all are the same). You can still access a GP up to 8pm on a weekday or from 8am to 8pm at the weekend by using the extended GP access service.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
