Did you Know?

By providing us with your mobile number  we will not only be able to send you text reminders for your appointments but we will also be able to remind you:

• when you are due for a chronic disease annual review.
• when we need to update your medical records with information such as BP or smoking/alcohol status.
• when we have a message for you and cannot reach you by home phone.

You can update your contact details online or inform one of our receptionists of any changes to your details. Please let us know if you want to opt out of receiving MJOG messages or dissent to SMS messaging from the surgery. If you have a shared mobile number you may receive texts for the person you share this with.

If you do not have a mobile number on file we may contact you through your home number using automated messages, through a company called MJOG. These messages may ask you to confirm your ID with your year of birth and generally will be for review or vaccination reminders.
