Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you. Due to the volume of tests and investigations we organise – in general – we do not contact patients about normal results.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account
- in your SystmOnline account
- phone or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are
Questions about your results
You can find out more information about specific tests from reliable trusted sources such as Labtestsonline or Patient.info
It is important to realise that blood tests are sometimes borderline and not significant. Your clinician will review your specific situation and use their clinical judgement and experience when looking at your test results.
If you want to talk to someone about your results, please book an appointment, ideally with the same clinician who requested the test.
Tests requested by other organisations
Using the NHS account you can view test results organised by hospitals and speciality teams. The responsibility of reviewing and where necessary acting on test results rests with the clinician who has requested them. Please contact that team directly if you have any questions (not the Loxwood team).
