Central Surgery is disappointed with the result of the CQC inspection. Although we felt that the grading did not reflect the quality of care we provide and the difficulties encountered during the Covid pandemic and its aftermath, we respect the CQC’s judgment. Some of the grades we have been given are related to marginally falling short of ensuring follow-up for all our patients was fully up to date, something that had been particularly difficult during the pandemic, and which we were already working to rectify. We look forward to the follow-up inspection as we are confident that we will have sorted out the issues that they raised and will have improved our rating.
