Patients aged between 40 and 74 will be invited for an NHS health check. You will then be invited at each 5 year mark.
This involves bloods being taken to assess the risk of developing chronic illnesses later in life, your BMI being measured (your height and weight will be taken for this) and some general questions about your lifestyle including smoking, drinking and exercise.
Our Health Care Support Workers run these appointments.
