Health Checks

At Testvale Surgery we offer free NHS Health Checks to the following groups…

• Newly registered patients
• Those aged 75 or over who have not had a consultation in the past year
• Adult patients under 75 who have not had a consultation in the past three years

All of the above have the right to request a health check consultation with either a doctor or nurse at the practice. Please call reception to arrange an appointment.

We offer a range of medical examinations and health checks relating to employment, insurance, mortgage applications, imigration, HGV/Bus/Taxi driver licensing, etc.

All of these services are chargeable and in most cases will be paid for by the requesting institution or body. Some must be paid for by you.

If there is a charge you will be expected to pay for the medical on the day, please let us know if you require the invoice made out to someone other than yourself.
