Testvale Surgery offers a weekly travel vaccinations and advice clinic for patients travelling abroad. The clinic is run jointly with the Friends of Testvale Surgery. Patients are asked to visit the Information Room initially, where the Friends of Testvale will give you a print-out of your destination and travel requirements, vaccine costs and a questionnaire for you to complete.
First Appointment
A detailed assessment will be made of your immunisation status and vaccine requirements. You can have all non-chargeable vaccines at this appointment.
Second Appointment (long haul and complex itineraries)
All chargeable vaccines MUST be paid for before your second appointment. This can be done at main reception. Unfortunately the Practice can only accept cash or cheques currently, which should be made payable to Testvale Surgery. We advise booking at least six weeks before you are due to travel to enable us to get the right vaccinations for you.
