The Practice offers a number of access facilities for its patients:

- Disabled parking bays close to entrance for Blue Badge holders
- Well illuminated car parking areas
- Low high contrast kerbs
- Planters adjacent to entrance
- Contrasting paths into surgery
- Wide automatic front doors
- Easy access levels at reception desk
- Well lit stairwells and waiting areas
- Portable hearing loop
- Lift with scooter access
- High contrast staircase risers
- Staff offer to escort patients upstairs or to lift
- Wheelchairs located on each floor
- Wide corridors and patient waiting areas suitable for scooters
- Disabled toilets with mobility aids, alarms and changing facilities
- Refuge points on first and second floors
- Call points in corridors by refuge points
- Patients invited into consulting / treatment rooms by clinicians
- Interpreter services available on request
- Staff receive training in how to help deaf patients
- Assistance with E-referral appointment bookings and telephone calls
- Custom and highly personalised approach to individual needs, e.g patients with a hearing losss collected personally from the waiting areas (one cap doesn’t fit all approach)
- Practice and other leaflets available in PDF format on request enabling scaling and on some enabled devices, text to speech
- Lift Access to floors 1 and 2
- Self-check-in screens available at reception and on floors 1 and 2.

Extended Hours
We offer appointments outside of usual opening hours during the week and pre-bookable appointments on Saturdays. Please contact reception for further details.
Out of Hours and Emergencies
For health information and advice, or if you need medical help fast when we are closed, call NHS 111. NHS 111 is the number to call when you need medical help fast but it’s not a life threatening emergency.
In life threatening emergencies such as chest pain and severe shortness of breath you should call 999
Urgent Care Service
Bracknell Urgent Care Centre is based at Royal Berkshire Bracknell Healthspace. The BUCC treats minor injuries and minor illnesses that require immediate assessment and treatment but do not require care in an A&E Department. You do not need an appointment to attend.
