We are a Group Practice consisting of doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, management and support staff.
There are five GP Partners all of whom are experienced general practitioners but who also have specialist knowledge and interests in particular fields of medicine.
We have one Advanced Clinical Practitioner and four Practice Nurses supported by two Healthcare Assistant who offer a range of different services.
We are also an accredited Training Practice involved in the teaching of GP Registrars who work with us on a temporary basis for periods of three, six and twelve months. GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are specialising in general practice. We value their input and fresh ideas and we learn a lot from them.
Being a Training Practice also helps us monitor and continually improve our patient care. A GP Registrar may be sitting in with the GP when you visit and you will be advised of this. If you would rather they were not present, please mention this at reception. No-one will mind and this will not affect your treatment in any way.
There are also a number of attached staff who provide additional services from our surgery. These include midwives, health visitors, mental health counselors and physio-therapists.
