Cervical Smears

Cervical screening is important. Cervical screening helps prevent cancer. Cervical screening checks a sample of cells from your cervix for certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV).These types of HPV can cause abnormal changes to the cells in your cervix and are called “high risk” types of HPV.

Please book with the nurse if you are overdue for a cervical smear.

Hypertension Clinics

Hypertension clinics (blood pressure) are run by our practice pharmacist. These can be purchased at a low cost from a local chemist or amazon and other online retailers. We advise purchasing a machine that is recommended by the British Hypertension Society.
